Anyone got/had one? Any good are they?
I find myself lusting after one for two reasons: lovely shiny ones are to be
had for under a grand and they're only 1.8l or 2.0l so feck all for me to
insure. Three reasons...build quality is supposed to be much better than
416 driver window06 Jul 2006 15:18 GMT5
My 93 electric driver window stopped working today.
The switch does for both driver and passenger windows and now doesn't work
for either.
Both passenger side window switches are still good.

Alfa 147 Climate Control Oddities06 Jul 2006 09:00 GMT4
The dual zone climate control is pumping out cold air from one side and
hot from the other when both dials are set to 'low'.  Any ideas what
that might be ?
The car has also started making some odd rumbling noises when the

Car insurance question05 Jul 2006 16:08 GMT10
At present I am with Direct Line and have been given a suspiciously low

reports on them?
Regards and thanks in advance
Peugeot 406 A/C failure05 Jul 2006 13:12 GMT4
My Air-con has died - I just have warm air blowing out. I can hear the
click when the A/C is engaged which suggests the connections are ok,
not too sure? Could it be that the the gas cylinder needs a re-fill? is
it something you can do yourself seemlessly?

Got a new style mot certificate today and on reading the blurb that came

thing that can be relied on is the computer record of it .

Halfords AC topup kit.04 Jul 2006 10:51 GMT7
Got one of these to-day - the 40 quid jobby with pressure gauge. The AC on
the BMW isn't what it was. The gauge showed well low, but the aerosol
didn't appear to make any difference. Pressing the button on the can while
disconnected didn't exactly give a powerful blast. Shaking it ...
