My Dad is looking for a new car and thinks he wants a 4x4 since he sometimes takes it fishing where the car parks are a bit boggy and he sometimes gets stuck in his current car (a 2wd Merc) ...My Mum doesnt like big 4x4s and would prefer a 'normal' car.

Anyone know what the deal is with this. A 53 plate cooper s with aero kit and 23k miles for £4600. This would be 17k new and minis dont lose much. My mate is jumping round the office like an idiot thinking he will be able to make 10k profit!

Does anyone have any experience of the above garage? I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THESE GUYS AS THEY SOLD ME A CAR THAT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND REFUSED TO HELP ME WITH THE REPAIR COSTS. Their website is http://www.gregorysbrooklands.co.uk.

Is there a British equivalent of the Nurburgring? Somewhere you can just, turn up, pay about a tenner, and drive your own car around, and preferable with its own Sabine ;) ? Or, are all British tracks, like most British things, more complicated
