I am trying to sell my car privately, if I manage to sell it, I will print
off a recipt of some description for me and the buyer, but what should I put
on it? I know "sold as seen" is a common phrase but is it the right one to
use?

Anyone know of an internet resource for information on the effect of mileage
on the resale value of cars?  I've seen guides such as Parker's that have
mileage adjustment tables for different models, but have been unable to find
anything similar online (for free, at least).

Has any one every had problems with there breaks, and wheel hubs?
Since i have had the car, i have done about 30k miles and in that time
every 10k or so i have to have discs / pads and wheel hubs replacing.
The garage says its because the hubs are over heating.

I can't believe how many people happily sit in queues at petrol
stations just to get a pump that's on the same side as the cap on
their car. The pumps at all major garages easily reach to the other

Just renewed my car insurance with one other named driver and noticed
on a directline leaflet that they let named drivers earn no claims.  I
didn't see anything online about this when I renewed my policy with
directline.  How do I get the no claims?
