I'm selling a car privately to a guy who says he is in the 'trade' but he doesn't have a VAT number to put in the section in the V5 form when selling to dealer? Is this important?

If I sell a car privately, how is the car expected to be insured if someone else test drives it? I guess they might have third party insurance based on their own insurance, but that won't cover the car being driven of course. I surely can't insist they get a temporary

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could recommend an insurance company for a convicted driver. I'm trying to insure a standard T reg Corsa GLS. the cheapest quote I've had is £717 from kwik fit I'm 28, I received an IN10 + 6 points in Nov 2003. I have no NCB.

just picked up a r5 1.4l auto 1989. Starts and drives fine at mo. got no manual or hbol, there is a yellow light on rhs of cluster that lights up when you turn ign on and goes out again.
