Hi folks, I'm moving house today, and have a diesel transit "Ford Transit 90TR 350l" hired. I was wondering how much it will do do the gallon etc? Driven smoothly, using the brakes as little as pos, max speed about 60 so none of my stuff gets damaged.

| Drivers cannot leave roundabout without breaking law | 04 Nov 2006 22:20 GMT | 2 |
A council is to remove new road signs that tell drivers they cannot leave a roundabout in Coventry. New traffic lights on the roundabout on the A444 have No Left Turn signs to stop drivers exiting onto entry roads.

| Powers of a Highways Agency Traffic Officer? | 04 Nov 2006 10:08 GMT | 13 |
I am seeing an increasing number of 'police style' vehicles (mainly 4x4's) belonging to the Highway's Agency on the motorways and many of them also state 'Traffic Officer' on the side, and was wondering what powers these guys have? For example, can they do someone for speeding?

You're on a busy road with 2 lanes of traffic, roads off to the right and left and occasional traffic lights, how do you deal with it? -Keep left, you may have to slow down while people in front turn left and you may get passed but no bother.

Specialised technology or are there implementations available off the shelf? I'm not sure what I'd do with it, but automatically logging the reg of the cars in front and behind me seems useful. Somehow. I'm not sure why.

| Road legal quad bikes | 01 Nov 2006 21:53 GMT | 7 |
Recently, I've seen a small quad bike locally with a number plate and tax disc, indicators, lights, etc. I've never seen the owner, its always been left outside somewhere, so can't ask them any thing. So I assume this is a road legal quad bike? Are there any restrictions
