I have a 2004 Volvo S60 in which my typical weeks see me driving the same
types of roads with little variation in route and miles.
Owned for 18 months and for first 12 months the MPG was averaging 27.5 with
me as the only driver. However in the last 6 months the average is down to ...

My dad owns a DRK 3 wheeler Morgan replica built in 1991. The orginial reg

owned. Somehow, the car has been incorrectly registered as a "DRK Trojan",
Irish Plates22 Feb 2007 11:12 GMT6
Hi, I seem to recall that cars with Irish plates (registered in
Ireland) can have black and silver plates uptill 2000 or 2001 instead
of the 1973 rules for British regs. I remember seeing the rules for
this somewhere, but whilst serching all I can find is the rules for

Tyre selection based on size?21 Feb 2007 22:31 GMT7
I think the tyres on my car are reasonably unusual, so I'm looking for
an online site which I can type in the tyre details and it'll list
which tyres are available in that size, and the cost.
Anyone happen to know a site that'll do that for me?

Corrosion on brake pipes - concern?19 Feb 2007 15:59 GMT13
Doing some paperwork thumbing, I've noticed (although they didn't point it
out to me) that a VT32 "Advisory Notice" was issued along with my recent
MOT - advising "004 Rear under wheel arch metal brake pipes corroded".
Is this something I should worry about?
Corsa 1.0 noise when idling17 Feb 2007 23:19 GMT10
I have a 3 year old, 20,000 miles 1.0 litre 3 cylinder Vauxhall Corsa.
It runs fine, but at idle it sounds like a diesel - quite a loud
tappet-like clatter.  You can't really hear it inside the car but
outside it's very distinctive.  You would say the camshaft or whatever
