So BMW drivers are c*nts27 Jun 2007 20:18 GMT10
I was walking back from my (completely useless) Ford dealer after
dropping of my car when I noticed a 10 year old BMW convertible parked
up with a personalised plate which read... "L1LET".
I mean, who in their right mind would want the name of a tampon on the
Peugeot 306 XRDT dashboard - min maxi?27 Jun 2007 16:31 GMT3
I recently drove a turbo diesel Peugeot 306 which I'm going to buy,
one thing I noticed was that there was a dial which had the words min
at one end and maxi at the other which didn't seem to move at all
during the 70 mile journey.
Road Accident Advets/Discussion27 Jun 2007 10:35 GMT6
I caught part of a discussion on News 24 tonight about some Australian
ad to try and prevent road traffic accidents and they had this woman (
spokesperson for some organisation)  on who thought them being
introduced to this country would be a good idea .She then went on to

Recently scrapped a car and the scrappy who came to take it away filled
out the above form and told me to keep in a safe place in case swansea

Thick or just a strange sense of humour?25 Jun 2007 22:52 GMT8
Just going to back out of my drive, when the dustcart arrived. Parked across
the end of the drive. No problem. I was quite prepared to wait until they'd
finished, so just sat there with the engine running while I fiddled with the
radio.
Found Honda key25 Jun 2007 21:46 GMT5
On Saturday I found a Honda key with its remote control in a car park. There
was no Honda there so how the owner left I don't know, unless this key, and
the seperate small bunch of keys next to it, fell out of a bag, for example,
and was a spare.
Jaguar XJS V12 5.3 litre25 Jun 2007 10:24 GMT21
Has anyone here ever owned one of these? They seem to go for silly cheap
money- two grand for a low mileage, FSH example- and I'm very tempted. Any
thoughts or comments? I don't care about fuel costs.
Lending a vehicle - obligations?24 Jun 2007 23:37 GMT7
I'm thinking of lending my car to a friend for a few weeks while I'm
abroad.  If so, obviously I'd need to sort out the insurance side of
things, and hand over the MOT cert, but does anyone know what else I
might have to do?
Honda civic type R22 Jun 2007 21:37 GMT45

MPG / Fuel used22 Jun 2007 14:15 GMT7
I recentlty completed a 570 mile journey (in a Clio 1.2).
The car's computer reported 13.6 gallons used, whilst the brim to brim
reading says 13.25 gallons were used.
Which is likely to be the most accurate ?
Selling a car: The motorist guide20 Jun 2007 22:39 GMT5
I'm trying to sell a car, which went into Autotrader. I was contacted
by the Motorist Guide.

They offer to sell the car for an upfront fee of £80, and claim to
Motoring offence technicality20 Jun 2007 15:46 GMT24
Hi, I've googled for this but haven't been able to find an answer.
I park, on occasion in a quiet residential area where almost no-one
has a drive an almost every available space on the road is taken up
with parked cars.  Today I received a fixed penatly notice for
Silver Fiesta white under the bonnet19 Jun 2007 14:10 GMT14
Is it normal for a 1997 R-reg silver-coloured Fiesta to be white under
the bonnet? I've just been to look at a 1997 R-reg 1.25 Ghia Auto.
It's silver in colour, but under the bonnet everything is white (slam
panel, inner wings, firewall etc). My first thought was that it had
