Anyone see 5th gear(Renault Modus vs Volvo 760)?15 Sep 2007 13:46 GMT8
Perhaps not good science but very sobering nonetheless when they did an
offset head-on crash test between an older Volvo 760 and a farly new Modus.
I know design has improved a lot but I've always felt that even if it was an
older design, the heavier car should fare better.
Donate Car15 Sep 2007 12:44 GMT2
People always consider donating money a great way to help a worthy
cause. Cars that are not being used make good donations, enabling many
less fortunate people to have a means of transportation.
In order to avoid exploitation, certain rules are framed that are
Why is there a 155mph limit?15 Sep 2007 10:59 GMT13
Why do you see cars that are limited to this speed?  Mine can only do
152 but isn't 150mph a more round number that you'd think they may
choose.
I know who the Stig is...14 Sep 2007 21:57 GMT18
Mark Webber is The Stig. I think it's clear when You listen to the
interview on Top Gear with Mark Webber and the one on Dutch TV with
The Stig. The accents are most liklely the same.

But its on CH5 this monday night at 11:05pm .
As for the actual film , Its a pity the night rider wasnt kept in a bit
Sorry, another find me a car post!13 Sep 2007 23:35 GMT8
I am looking for a cheapish, reasonably economical, tough car. I will
be driving across Europe and Asia, taking at least 12 months out :-)
Some of the roads that I have driven on before are pretty rough so
probably a 4x4 would be in order, as long as it is reliable and not

Oh no - the "find me a car" post12 Sep 2007 13:32 GMT21
I've had my Fiat Coupe for just coming up to 3 years now and it's been a
great car, I've loved owning it and it has been pretty reliable as well.
However it has been a toy - my commuting is done by motorbike and if we're
out as a family we tend to use my wife's 307cc.  There's a ...

I joined Quidco a couple of months ago and got a few pennies together here
and there, then 'er indoors bought a pair of shoes which gave back just over
a fiver, then I noticed the Prudential were offering £130 cashback on new
car insurance. As the Micra was due I gave it a go - ...

small accident, insurance10 Sep 2007 10:16 GMT10
I hit mirror of the van parked of the street. Police car was behind
me, so they passed my details to the owner. I did small scratch on the
side of the van, and some scratches on the mirror base.
They didn`t write any accident report, just spoke on the phone.
