I've just had the battery replaced on the remote key in my 1998 Mondeo, and
now it won't work using the buttons, but operates fine using the key in the
door. I took it to a local autoelectrical place as I know this operation has
to be done within15 secs, and I've never done it ...

octavia 1.9 TD , 150k miles 51 plate
Fuel pump replaced as that seemed to be issue but
now its replace the TURBO is NOT kicking in until
3000+ revs

I've been toying with the idea of putting a HID kit in the Saab, and prices
are looking so damn reasonable now that it seems rude not to.
About the last remaining question centres on the Saab being sooooo ancient
that it uses a single-optic H4 lamp... Do I go for the seeming bodge ...

Can anyone point me to the location of the central locking box of tricks?
The Haynes B.O.L has it on the circuit diagram but I can't find any
reference to the location of the actual unit... Just thought I'd ask before
I rip the wrong bit of the car apart :)

8 months ago.
