Greetings from the States.
I was doing research into recreation vehicles, when I came across UK
Ebay listings for trailer tents. I thought this might be the answer

Unrepairable puncture on the shoulder of a £100 plus tyre, with
over 4mm of tread left.:-(
Only consolation is that I have a same make, type tyre, with
about the same depth of tread to replace it, as a similar thing
Car tax in 2009 question20 Aug 2008 19:27 GMT2
Our car tax is due at the end of this month, and I'm trying to decide
whether to get 6 months or 12.  Due to timings of car insurance and
breakdown cover, getting 6 months now (and then switch to 12 months)
would help spread our the large bills over the year.  However, doing
Tyre sealant stuff - which one?19 Aug 2008 03:53 GMT25
I've just had my car converted to dual fuel and now have a 67-litre LPG tank
in the spare wheel well instead of a spare wheel, so can anyone recommend a
good tyre sealant?
Each of the tyres is in really good condition with between 6 and 7mm tread
Can I drive with boot lid open18 Aug 2008 22:50 GMT5
I have got to get some bits from the DIY shop and almost sure the length
will be longer than I have despite the rear seats being down. Is it lawful
to drive with the boot open obviously I will need to find a way to tie it
down as much as possible.
BBC Olympics coverage18 Aug 2008 22:09 GMT8
I just realised the BBC has set up 'big screens' round the UK for the masses
to watch their Olympic coverage.
How can they make certain that all the people who might see one of these are
paid-up licence payers?

Clutch due for replacement?18 Aug 2008 12:21 GMT6
I have a 1997 rover 214.
The clutch bite is very near the top of the pedal movement.
What other characteristics will show that its 'down to the nub'?
Thanks.
Motor insurance rip off: Yes Car Insurance17 Aug 2008 16:54 GMT13
Sorry, but this is a bit long. I hope you can bear with me:
My stepdaughter was recently bought a second hand car that is newer
than her current vehicle. Her car insurance policy at the time was mid
way through its 12 month term.

Ebay verses garage to buy..15 Aug 2008 16:40 GMT7
I have been looking at a few classified adverts on ebay where the seller is
definitely a forecourt garage and is selling cars (in the £3-£5K price
bracket) and claiming you don't have any warrantee unless you pay extra.
I was under the impression,  that only a private sale had no ...

Am I better to keep my car or get a smaller one13 Aug 2008 01:36 GMT5
I have a 54 plate Volvo S60, 68,000 miles, and was thinking of selling to
get a mini sized car because I no longer need the bigger car for my work and
travelling. I resent spending the money on cars (don't we all). So looking
to cut cost, have something easier on the narrow ...
