Hi To All
I have a BMW 525 tdi.1994
Which has failed a MOT on rear subframe bushes.Both sides.
The bushes are near the outer sill.

I have bought a car and the log book hasn't come through. The car is
currently untaxed.
I have applied for the Logbook but this might take 6 weeks, then when I get
it I will need to drive to the nearest DVLA because the taxation class needs

Our local scrap metal place is now paying 40 pounds per tonne, after a
high of 200 a few months back.
Anyone care to guess how much lower it's likely to go?

I was following a tarted up hatchback the other day and it was producing the
weirdest exhaust smells. Definitely not diesel and I don't think it was
down to a knackered cat. It smelt exotic & aromatic and made me wonder if
someone was running their car on some sort of illicit ...
