Evenin all,
I was after some advice on what car I could get the wife. My budget is
£1,500 max. She can only drive an auto, so hopefully it will come in
an auto model and power steering is a must as she has arms like

Just a passing query...
I keep spotting a bog standard looking Vauxhall Omega parked in my
village. Doesn't look anything special at all, apart from a slightly
butch twin exhaust. What catches my eye though, is a very subtle "6.0"

My daughter needs 2 new tyres on her Renault Clio 1.5dCI Dynamique. The
existing tyres are Continental Sport Contact 2.
The load rating is 88 - speed rating V.
All the tyres listed in the manual are "88" - but many manufacturers only

car on Auto Trader but it says its an import. What is the downside or upside

If you drive what is often referred to as a 'gas guzzler' then under new
rules you will be forced to pay almost double .

Are the new types of automatic (I drive the steptronic type in large
machines so I quite like them) or conventional ones with lock up any worse
in fuel consumption than a normal car when cruisng at motorway speeds?
I haven't kept up with modern cars but may need to buy a new(ish) ...
