I want to tint the rear and rear passenger windows of my MPV, a very
dark limo tint would be my preference (small restless children in
transit, I'm hoping a nice dark tint would encourage sleep on long
journeys) but I want to be sure that the tints are legal, am I right in

I put my car (02' ford focus estate 1.8 tdi diesel, 80k miles) in for
a service and MOT last week and when I got it back and started driving
it I noticed an intermittent whine/whistle coming from the engine.
I took it back to the mechanic and he spent a day checking everything

Did anyone else pay a visit?  I went to B&Q to price up some wood and
stumbled upon the show.  Lot's of American, hot rod, funny cars present.  A
couple of older Ferrari's were also there, along with a selection of Jap
cars (Skylines, older Datsuns etc)

My boss has an expensive motor with a "Tracker" monitor fitted. This sends
him a text message if the vehicle gets disturbed or moved. If he then finds
the vehicle is missing the tracker company somehow activate a beacon which
the police can home in on.

Any views on the air-conditioning gas top up service done by Kwikfit? Any
other alternatives?

Pretty Tidy, 3 door, 1.0ltre tempest, so RCL but feck all else. Plenty of
history 12m mot. Goes well [1]. No signs of  throttle body / timing chain
maladies.
