Gearbox Reconditioning27 Feb 2004 22:19 GMT13
I've just picked up 2 used 'boxes for my 75, and plan to have one

I've already got.

I have a 1973 MG Midget with a 1275 cc engine. After reading David Visards
Book it appears that the parts for the A series and A + Series engines are
interchangeable. I would like to put the A+ series engine in, will it go
straight in or will the crankshaft have to be swapped? The ...

Cars with right-hand gearchange24 Feb 2004 18:24 GMT6
Further to the recent discussion on the Riley Pathfinder and its
right-hand gearchange, I happened on an a copy of Graham Robson's book
"The Cars of BMC" today, and it turns out that my memory was faulty. Not
only did the Pathfinder's successor, the Two-point-Six, retain the
Riley Elf 196723 Feb 2004 09:47 GMT1
Having been seduced by a Riley Elf on E-bay I am in need of some assistance
with sourcing parts and ensuring that I purchase the correct style of parts
for it.
I have purchased a 1967 Riley Elf Mark 3 however the interior and some of

Having thrown a piston in the 1098 in my Morris Traveller and with
another European trip imminent I decided to replace it with a 1300.
Thats taken a bit more resources than I had originally planned
including new manifolds and exhaust, carbs, even throttle cables etc,
