Anyone know the whereabouts of this Riley 9? It belonged to my godfather many years ago (1950's) and hasn't been seen since then. However, according to the DVLA the tax expired on January 9th 1997... so it must still be about!!

Yes really! Does anyone remember a motor dealer in Bristol who used to have a big ol' 1930's yellow saloon perched on top of it's premises? Probably "RTS Motors" or the like. Apparently it was up there from the 60's

Just joined the group. Have a 1936 Morris Eight & an 1955 Austin A50. Latter was for sale but withdrawn as fed up with Time Wasters. Just been given an arc welder in good working condition I tried it out at home in my shed plugged into an extension lead from the house but it keeps

I'm doing some work on an old 1969 MGB GT for a friend of mine and quite possibly buying it. Strange thing is, I was under t'bonnet earlier on and noticed that it's got a Swansea issue SABTVRO chassis number.

Are there any obvious visual differences between the Triumph Herald 13/60 block and the Spit 1500 block? The engine number starts with a GE which suggests it is a Herald lump, but the owner assures me it's a Spit 1500. I don't believe him, so I'd like to

Just got myself a new classic to play with, A Vauxhall Viva 1256cc, with 14000 mile son the clock, but never been started or attempted to be started since 1981... its solid (as expected) what's peoples advice on how to proceed?
