| The Lost World of Friese-Greene | 30 Apr 2006 19:38 GMT | 44 |
Has anyone else noticed the diabolical editing of the present day narrational inserts in these programmes? Last week we seemed to be travelling in a 10ft high 1920's Vauxhall when a modern car passed by the filmed car whilst it was travelling on the filming trailer and

| Anyone built / bought a "thing" to roll a car shell over? | 28 Apr 2006 11:24 GMT | 9 |
I've seen a couple of websites where people working on shells have fitted it to a frame (or vice versa) and are able to roll the shell up onto one side to get access to the underside to underseal it easily. Anyone know who makes them and if they're extortionately expensive?

| Blatant spam for Mach 7 V8 | 27 Apr 2006 18:54 GMT | 17 |
Took this for a drive on Thursday, Lotus 7 rep with a tuned Rover V8. A lovely warm autumn day in New Zealand, 27 deg C, out in shirtleeves and sunnies. It races big bikes. 0-60 4 seconds. The thing really goes. See http://classiccarfair.com/2006_mach_seven_v8.htm

Been out for a quick bimble, just a few odds'n'sods locally. Even though it's wet and miserable and misty, compared to yesterday, spotted a rather lovely little '30s Aston and a bloody great big traction engine...

| Rover P5B | 22 Apr 2006 12:04 GMT | 11 |
A semi disabled mate of my brother in Aberdeen has just had an accident in his much loved P5B. It will need a N/S front wing and door. Where are the best places to try? And any sort of guide price? I'd describe the car as top condition 2 and it's valued at 2500.

| Mayonnaise in the engine | 09 Apr 2006 21:35 GMT | 5 |
I noticed with horror today that my oil filler cap is covered in mayonnaise and the oil on the dipstick has a colour resembling tea. The coolant has vanished and so I'm pretty sure the head gasket has gone. The car is a Spitfire 1500.

| Tips for getting steering wheels off | 05 Apr 2006 10:10 GMT | 6 |
OK, I know there's probably no easy answer, but if anyone has a pet method for removing steering wheels, I'd like to hear it. Current one is from the MGB I mentioned a while back*. The upper steering column is off the car. I've undone the locking nut, but the

Anyone tell me where would be a good place to advertise for sale a 1931 Alvis 12/60 Beetleback that has been restored to a very high standard. I can't find a group that seems to fit the bill that well so all ideas would be appreciated.
