Bang22 Feb 2007 01:09 GMT3
It's fixed. Autoglass arrived early and installed what the fitter said was
the last new one in the country. At a cost of 400 quid to my insurance
company, but 'only' 60 to me. I'd guess they're profiteering - even Rimmer
Bros only charge 175 for the new screens they have in stock. ...
Bang20 Feb 2007 11:00 GMT4
I've still not got it sorted - the rear windscreen on the SD1. Autoglass
said there isn't one available new so I set about trying to source a
secondhand one. Ebay had one but in N Wales and collection only. There's a
complete tailgate with no bids in Oxfordshire but it looks like ...
SORN failed to register19 Feb 2007 22:02 GMT12
I took my DS off the road at the end of October and applied for a tax
refund with a V14, on which I also declared SORN. I know they got it,
because I have had the refund, but I have just had a letter from
Continuous Licensing saying that the vehicle is neither taxed nor

Solex carb spares04 Feb 2007 14:43 GMT4
I'm looking for a new volume control screw for a Solex 30PICT-1
carburettor.  Any ideas who would stock such a part?  Most carburettor
specialists I have found only really cater for SU's and such, and
generally don't have much in the way of Solex parts except the usual
