| getting bearing on input shaft: won't go further | 23 Feb 2007 19:31 GMT | 3 |
Input shaft in question: '79 Spitfire w/ ovd. I tapped the new bearing + oil flinger onto the input shaft, keeping a close eye on the oil flinger(to keep straight), but it won't go any further. On the outer face of the bearing, the groove is cleared. But

| Bang | 22 Feb 2007 01:09 GMT | 3 |

| Bang | 20 Feb 2007 11:00 GMT | 4 |
I've still not got it sorted - the rear windscreen on the SD1. Autoglass said there isn't one available new so I set about trying to source a secondhand one. Ebay had one but in N Wales and collection only. There's a complete tailgate with no bids in Oxfordshire but it looks like ...

I'm looking for a new volume control screw for a Solex 30PICT-1 carburettor. Any ideas who would stock such a part? Most carburettor specialists I have found only really cater for SU's and such, and generally don't have much in the way of Solex parts except the usual
