Rover P6 rear seatbelt mounts31 Jul 2007 08:45 GMT6
I read somewhere that every Rover P6 had rear seatbelt mounts
incorporated from new. Anyone know if this is true and if so, where they

around mine (1971 2000TC) and can't find any.

Stripping aluminium: advice welcome11 Jul 2007 23:17 GMT18
At some point in the next few days I have to strip the aluminium roof
of my DS to bare metal. My usual method, which worked very well on the
steel boot and rear wings, involves Nitromors (which I understand is
fine on aluminium) and a wire brush on my angle grinder (about which I

OK, I'm a sad insomniac - but this morning's Heartbeat (06.55, ITV3)
featured a car I couldn't immediately recognise.  The white tourer.  My best
guess is a Triumph Dolomite, but the "waterfall" radiator didn't look quite
right.  Any better bets, or should I do the obvious and ...

very reasonable £119.40 a pair, with a local tyre place willing to fit
and balance them for a tenner a go.
On 26th June I had an email from delticom (that's who mytyres are,

Am trying to find out, where an air-powered car horn may have been in
service.
The horn is bell-shaped, made from black-painted brass.
Bell-shaped part is ~ 5½ " (143 mm)long,  ~8½" (214 mm) including "mouth
Nuts and bolts08 Jul 2007 23:32 GMT7
I could do with a nice big assortment of UNF nuts and bolts. I bought
Namrick's version, but it's not very good: rather heavy on the nuts
and washers and light on the bolts, particularly the smaller sizes.
Can anyone recommend another supplier of mixed packs of UNF nuts and
