i am currently restoring my ford capri mk 1. I tried to remove the flexible coupling, but after removing the clamp bolt, the flexible coupling wont detach from the spline. It moves about an inch, but wont come out completely. Has anyone encountered this problem before, and

I have a 79 Spitfire a want to get the body off. I have removed all the bolts and also the two rear "panhard" (sp?) arms that did have attachments to the body, but the rear seems firmly attached still.. I can lift up the front part of the body but it still seems attached
