Stupid & sidekick.21 Jun 2005 06:51 GMT2
Ho hum. Driving in a 30MPH limit, past a speed camera (facing towards
me). The bloke in the cap driving the blue Renault hatchback 3 yards
behind me drops down to 20 MPH, so the gap increases. Good. So, after
ay short distance, up he comes again. I check his progress as a coach

Not indicating on roundabouts!20 Jun 2005 11:43 GMT65
Roundabout with about 4 exits. 3 lanes.
I want to take the 3rd exit so I wait in the middle lane to go (some people

exits after it - my exit is probably just over half way around the cirlce -
Monday morning idiots20 Jun 2005 09:52 GMT1
Two of them spotted today.
One was a woman wandering along the hard shoulder of the M42 today going for
a stroll.
Sandals , shorts , floppy hat and rucksack and no sign of a broken car
Peds20 Jun 2005 09:34 GMT17
great example today of why so many peds get run over. I approached a
roundabout, signalling right. About 10 yards past the roundabout was a
traffic island with 2 woman on it, both with babies in pushchairs.
They gave a quick look in my direction and both pushed their babies into
Drink-driving consequences?19 Jun 2005 23:22 GMT6
Am I right in saying that being convicted of drink driving is an automatic
disqualification for at least a year no matter what?
Just to clarify, not asking for myself.. asking on behalf of my partners
completely stupid brother. *sigh*
Traffic Cops today18 Jun 2005 23:17 GMT246
I most interested about this law that it isn't required for the driver
to get out of the vehicle.
Cool! I need a web site please with all this legal stuff in direct
relation to being stop by police.
Rover Documentary18 Jun 2005 23:04 GMT5
Did anyone see the Rover documentary last night with Sir Trev McDonald? It
was
an absolute crime what happened to that company and the incredible
mismanagement that went on inside.

A bit of Autobahn on the M4018 Jun 2005 16:45 GMT71
T'was speeding along at 105 MPH on the M40, although I hasten to add I
wasn't driving. Anyway we pulled into middle lane to let a left-hand
drive BMW speed past and I noticed german plates, as we moved behind
it. The Beamer then heavily tailgated a Ford Focus and with the brake

The BBC are running this programme at about 9am every day. Each day they
show a couple of learners and their test. I was quite shocked at yesterdays
programme in regards to speeding.
A young lad was driving at 33mph, and the instructor suggested he ought to
