Driving Theory Book which includes free driving lesson30 Nov 2005 20:39 GMT1
Have seen a couple of these around in my local garage, but now they haven't
got any left. Was thinking would be good present for my sister if I could

search for it online.
M42 variable speed limits.30 Nov 2005 08:53 GMT2
Drove along there tonight.  It would appear that white vans and BMWs

circle has passed them by.

85.9p per litre29 Nov 2005 12:59 GMT72
85.9p per litre for petrol at most stations now.
I've now been hearing folk saying things like "Nice to see it cheaper" or
"It's a good price now".  WHAT?!  Cheap?!  Good Price?!
I think this whole oil refinery shutdown lark was just so that the oil
Motorway Drivers29 Nov 2005 12:38 GMT140
I had a short coach trip along the motorway today, and had a very good
view (from above) of drivers.  I was shocked at how many people had a
very poor grip of the steering wheel.  In fact almost everybody seem to
hold the wheel in exactly the same way.  It's typically a couple of

On Jonathon Ross the other night (JC Guest)  he said the transport minister
was on Top Gear doing the 'star in fast car' (I think) and apparently he

fuel system cleaner / additives26 Nov 2005 10:04 GMT3
most manufacturers of the above additives state that after 60000 miles
it's a good idea to dose a cars fuel system with a cleanser to 'remove
built up deposits, clean the fuel pump and improve injector spray pattern,
improve economy, power, throttle response' etc etc
Help Req25 Nov 2005 22:21 GMT67
I don't have a licence, not even a provisional, and my mate was falling
asleep at the wheel, so I suggester I drive for a while.
I drove almost back home when I was pulled over by the police and
questioned/brethalised.
Higher Performance Bulbs?25 Nov 2005 22:21 GMT25
What are peoples thoughts on these?  I'm finding that my lights don't
go very far when dipped.  However a lot of oncomming cars tend to be
very dazzling, although their fog lights probably don't help either.
If I get higher performance bulbs (road legal ones) could my lights
Lack of proper observation!25 Nov 2005 22:20 GMT5
I followed a red V40 for several miles in L3 in stop/go traffic.
Obviously his driving was a secondary consideration as both his
steering and following distance were varying quite wildly.
Along comes a biker using the L2/L3 split sailed past me then comes up
stand by for chaos!25 Nov 2005 22:19 GMT10
Lots of luvverly snow on the way. Who wants to bet the usual dickheads will
get stuck abd blame someone else.? (Not me, for one)
The note at the bottom shows that fog does have some uses, for the idiots at
least.
