Cross in front of behind?21 Nov 2005 11:49 GMT26
How do you guys do it when turning right at a light-controlled crossroads,
when two of you facing each other want to turn at the same time? Cross in
front or behind each other? I've almost never seen the cross behind
technique but some guy tried it in his Chrysler Voyager tonight ...
Taxing without V5-Already taxed?LONG sorry!20 Nov 2005 23:24 GMT9
Hiya,

More roadworks on the M6/M4220 Nov 2005 17:42 GMT2
Just when one set finishes, another starts. What a nightmare it is to
drive on :-/ It looks like they are starting to install those new

Conjestion is good for the environment20 Nov 2005 10:11 GMT73
Or so it seems. I drove to Solihull and back today. I set off at 8:30am and
didn't encounter any serious traffic. I did an almost steayd speed all the
way there which sounds unbelivable but there you go. I managed 30.1mpg.
I set off home at 15:40 and hit loads of traffic all the ...
International symbols19 Nov 2005 21:00 GMT13
Are there any internationally recognised symbols for:
"Oi you! Move into the inside lane"
"Oi you! Turn your foglights off"
"Oi you! Your exhaust has a large fireball coming out of it"
Roundabout question19 Nov 2005 11:21 GMT97
A local roundabout has two unmarked approach lanes. For drivers going
straight ahead there is a single exit lane. Two cars arrive, one in each
approach lane, and both try to go straight ahead. Who has priority?

Cyclists!19 Nov 2005 11:20 GMT43
I'm going to rip out all my car's lights, and replace with a (dim)
flashing green LED at the rear and nothing on the front. Cyclists round
here seem to get away with owt (or nowt), so we may as well be
consistent....

Traffic Updates via Text?18 Nov 2005 17:15 GMT1
Anyone know of a service where you can get text updates ONLY when a road is
busy?
There are a few certain roads, when blocked, make it very hard for me to get
anywhere - I'd liek to know only when these particular roads are busy (I
