| See & Be Seen | 14 Nov 2005 12:00 GMT | 42 |
The other day I saw cars being driven in bad weather without lights on or with just parking (side) lights on. There were times when their cars could not be seen by other drivers (truck pulling out as they overtook it on the motorway) and when they could not see properly (being in ...

| Driving barefoot | 14 Nov 2005 10:56 GMT | 9 |
What is the law on driving barefoot? As i sometimes drive barefoot on the way back from the beach after surfing. I have never suffered any problems. I thought it was good for women to remove their high heels and drive barefoot?

I was thinking ... driving down a dark country lane with fullbeam headlights on.... how far away should I be before dipping the lights? I usually do so when I can see the other cars head lights, but can I wait

| todays pillock | 12 Nov 2005 05:42 GMT | 4 |
Driving along a SC A road NSL, fairly twisty and hilly and its wet although not raining particularly hard. As we leave a small town there's a WVM with phone clamped to ear about ten feet off my back bumper so regardless of my speed I slow up, and then slow

| Capital driving offenses | 11 Nov 2005 22:41 GMT | 36 |
My number one capital driving offence is blocking a roundabout because the driver is too stupid, inconsiderate or inattentive to notice that their exit lane is blocked. This means that not only is his/her stream of traffic stationary, but he/she makes sure everyone else's is as

| RAC Wiper advice | 11 Nov 2005 16:47 GMT | 2 |

| Side lights and Fog lights | 11 Nov 2005 09:26 GMT | 96 |
Also like the THINK! post earlier, the turning back of the clocks now returns us to the infinitely more irritating phenomenon of the London driver (and around the country I guess but in less great proportions) of not using dipped headlamps at night, like normal people do, but ...

| Bus Lanes - Sign Requirements | 10 Nov 2005 19:18 GMT | 22 |
My route into work has been destroyed by new bus lanes created for the 3 or 4 buses an hour that actually use the route. At the start of the week all the blue signs at the start of the lanes were turned 90% so instead of facing the oncoming traffic they now face the pavement.
