Right Turn31 Dec 2005 13:02 GMT19
Isn't it irritating when the road designers do not leave enough room to
enable traffic to filter to the left of cars waiting to turn right.
Even worse where there is space and the right turning car is not positioned
correctly to enable you to filter on the inside.
Looking at new Cars31 Dec 2005 12:14 GMT113
I am considering replacing my Sei with a new car.  So I went to a local
dealer to see what they had to offer.  It was a Peugeot dealer, so I
looked that the 107, and 206.
With the 206 my main concern was the seating position (Parkers seem to
I guess we've got some snow up here...31 Dec 2005 12:02 GMT7

Up to 200 vehicles were left stranded in drifting snow in East
Yorkshire, as a cold snap affecting the UK continued.
Fire crews and police spent six hours digging drivers out as a
Parking over people's driveways30 Dec 2005 19:05 GMT36
Chav next door keeps parking over my driveway, being too lazy to park on his
own. Last time I asked him to move, he threatened our unborn baby.
Is said Chav committing an offence like obstruction so that I can report
said Chav to the police?
Today's incident - muppets on ice30 Dec 2005 02:32 GMT15
As I was wandering up to the shops earlier I saw a young scrotey type in a
halfords special corsa trying to turn his car round in a cul-de-sac (with
turning area at the end)
Instead of doing a sensible three point turn he decided to drive towards the
I Hate Other Motorists!30 Dec 2005 00:59 GMT26
The majority of them are stupid, and make everybody else suffer!
I had to do an emergency stop today because of other idiots!  I stopped
in plenty of time, but the worrying thing is that if the other driver
was doing 30mph (30mph speed limit) there would have been nothing I
The Stig28 Dec 2005 17:35 GMT6
I have the Jeremy Clarkson latest DVD ("Heaven and Hell") and the Stig
appears on it with "Simpson" on his helmet. Could it be Adrian Simpson of
Fifth Gear?
I always thought it was Perry McCarthy?
Gatso Speed cameras avoiding the fine25 Dec 2005 20:24 GMT3
I recently received a Notice of intended prosecution about speeding (43
Mph exceeding 30 on restricted road) caught on a GATSO camera the time
was 01:21 and no cars where in the road at all I was new in this area
and I didn't pay attention to the camera warning signs .
Windscreen wipers failed23 Dec 2005 17:42 GMT5
My wife was driving our car 50 miles from home when it suffered
catastrophic failure of the windscreen wipers in foul weather (lone
woman driver). She called out the AA and the guy arrived promptly, and
was very helpful but quickly established that the fault was not a fuse
Have a good christmas all!23 Dec 2005 09:00 GMT6
I am off home now until the January 3. I have 10 hours of flying lessons
booked and possibly the RoADA test.
Hope you all have a great break over Christmas, and I forgive all of you
that have been abusive to me - not Conor of course as he is a lorry driver

Stock-cars: the "Golden Age"22 Dec 2005 16:10 GMT2
My nostalgia photo archive now has over 300 photographs, and amusing
reminiscences, of the 1955-1975 golden age of British stock-car racing.
I've just added some great shots of the great "Jumbo" Tustin # 179,
in the 1960's section.  Armoured combat cars, powered by anything rom
Will the driver of DK04GBY report to your traffic manager for further driving instruction.22 Dec 2005 11:29 GMT13
Your Xmas cracker license may have expired along with your photocopy

You drove 4 miles from Birchwood (the Oakwood gate double roundabout) to
Ordford lane without one indicator, in moderately heavy traffic, but
Giving way22 Dec 2005 10:22 GMT84
Why do some people feel it necessary to reverse the rules in the Highway
Code and give right-of-way to people emerging from minor roads? Why don't
they show more consideration to the traffic behind them that is not using
rat-runs?
