When you see 3 lanes of traffic ahead, with three cars slowing, all with
hazards on.... it generally means SLOW DOWN.
It does NOT mean cut from inside to outside lane, brake as late as possible,

Several latest models of car have LED instead of single bulbs for
rear/brake lights. They are a LOT brighter than most other cars. At the
same time as rear lights are getting brighter, the handbrake is being used
less and less at junction, the driver prefering the foot brake.
