Strange car number11 Feb 2006 09:14 GMT9
Whilst driving in my town yesterday a BMW tailgated me massively and when it
whizzed past me I happened to spot its number and it read like 356046. All
numbers. I am quite positive. Any idea where this car belongs ?
Cheers
Traffic update sites?09 Feb 2006 16:09 GMT2
Does anyone know of any good traffic update sites, mainly for
Staffordshire/West Mids.
As I usually get the traffic reports via the radio in the car just as I have
stopped in the middle of the congestion, would be nice to know before hand
Putting your ego away!09 Feb 2006 15:56 GMT84
Judging from what I've been reading on the "This guy didn't look" thread, I
think the best drivers on the road, are not just those who have good
observation and anticipatory skills, but those who can put their ego away
and be laid back on the road. That means not rising to ...
A Nearly T boned08 Feb 2006 14:24 GMT6
Talking of Kev's near miss...
Today, a roundabout with three extremely wide lanes around it. Waiting
to go straight ahead - being a large busy roundabout you need
confidence and acceleration to get across the distance safely.
Parking tickets08 Feb 2006 06:54 GMT16
Does anybody know if a parking ticket has to placed on your vehicle before
it is valid?
I'm thinking of the situation where you drive away before they have finished
writing the ticket.

Look our for insurance con-artist07 Feb 2006 09:37 GMT7
There are a lot of accident stunt men/insurance con-art, they plan
accidents and make it look like if its your fault.
Most of them will peddle their bicycles straight in to your path to
make it look like if its your fault, then call an ambulance to bump up

Gotta laugh at ...06 Feb 2006 03:28 GMT48
tiny tiny women who drive about in HUGE 4x4's on their own. That is of course
until they pick up a tiny tiny child from school who is invisible once in the
vehicle. What a waste of car, petrol, road space, tyre rubber, and world
resources. Apart from that they just look like prats - ...
Driving in Italy05 Feb 2006 20:13 GMT13
Well, having just spent a week in Italy, driving in Rome and out in the
country, I thought I'd report back on things I noticed...
- The roads are terrible. Only toll routes and *some* new roads are anyhting
like the vast majority of UK roads. Even on major routes it's not uncommon ...
Lights....again04 Feb 2006 20:57 GMT138
Oi, all you morons who drive on sidelights when it's raining.
Ever tried riding a motorcycle.. with rain and spray on your visor..when the
sun's not quite up? No? You should - then you'd understand the difference in
visibility between driving on your poxy sidelights and using your ...

Gatso's on elevated M4 in London03 Feb 2006 22:16 GMT8
On the elevated section of the M4 going into London there are at least two
speed camera's, however, on the elevated section on the way out of London,
I've never spotted any or the tailtale road markings on the road.  Are there
really no speed camera's going out?
my good deed for the day..03 Feb 2006 14:02 GMT24
Was driving in town apporaching a roundabout with 2 cars in front of me. As
car 1 reached the give way line a fire engine with lights flashing and siren
blaring came from the right and turned down the road that we were on. The
1st car slammed the brakes on and the 2nd ploughted ...
