My clutch cable snapped! Just got to the end of the road where I work, and suddenly the pedal appear to vanish when I was comming to a stop. It was stop start traffic with lots of lights, so it wasn't even worth trying to drive.

I've just crawled through the aftermath of a horrific looking accident on the M1 entering the j20 works (two bashed to pieces cars and a lorry at least). The queue was so short up to the accident that it cannot have occured more than 2-3 minutes prior to my reaching it.
