OK - that's enough!29 Mar 2006 23:35 GMT21
I have just flipped this morning. Living in a rather quiet residential
estate, which has a long winding road running through it, I am getting
seriously pissed off with the driving on that road. It is a 30 zone, and has
sharp bends which cannot be taken more quickly. On one of them ...
Over Half Of All Fatalities Occur On Rural Roads29 Mar 2006 19:44 GMT64
This is what an advert on the local radio starts with.  It goes on to
tell people to keep their speed down.
Now, what I want to know if why the police always seem to be focusing
on 'road safety' in built up areas.  Surely they should be focusing on

Worst Driving Experience Ever28 Mar 2006 08:02 GMT342
This one takes some beating. Many years ago I was driving up from Leicester
to somewhere, on the M1. The motorway was busy and the weather was
appalling - torrential rain. Lane One was fully occupied by a string of
lorries, and I was just gingerly overtaking those in Lane Two, ...

at least). The queue was so short up to the accident that it cannot have
occured more than 2-3 minutes prior to my reaching it.
