I have just flipped this morning. Living in a rather quiet residential

This one takes some beating. Many years ago I was driving up from Leicester
to somewhere, on the M1. The motorway was busy and the weather was
appalling - torrential rain. Lane One was fully occupied by a string of
lorries, and I was just gingerly overtaking those in Lane Two, ...

Do I have to carry the car registration, insurance note, mot certificate
along with my driver's licence and counterpart lic.? Or is it sufficient
that I carry only the driver licence and the counterpart?

My clutch cable snapped!
Just got to the end of the road where I work, and suddenly the pedal
appear to vanish when I was comming to a stop.  It was stop start
traffic with lots of lights, so it wasn't even worth trying to drive.

I've just crawled through the aftermath of a horrific looking accident
on the M1 entering the j20 works (two bashed to pieces cars and a lorry
at least). The queue was so short up to the accident that it cannot have
occured more than 2-3 minutes prior to my reaching it.
