I've recently noticed (although they've probably been there for ages) pairs
of rectangular lines like vehicle sensors in the road, often with grey boxes
at the side of the road. There seems to be loads of them (all roads, every
few miles) around here, like traffic light sensors ...

I always thought I was doing it correctly, I would cautiously move out
across a red light, or get up on the pavement to let a 999 vehicle go
pass.  I have been extremely good over the years in assisting them to
get through in tight situations where the traffic had gone into

I'm teaching someone to reverse round a corner. They are relatively short
and get a very bad view of the kerb (i.e. none whatsoever). Is it
permissible on the test:
(a) To use your left hand mirror pointed down to see the kerb

My mate is currently driving without a licence and no matter how much we nag
him he just doesn't seem to get round to taking his test. Clearly one of

Further to my earlier posting regarding the Calcium/Silver Battery on
