Auto Trader30 Jun 2006 10:13 GMT3
Has anyone got any advise on buying cars through Auto Trader. All last
week I've been phoning people to be told the car has sold. Someone I spoke
to yesterday says there might be another model I would be interested in
that would be in tommorow's Auto Trader.
Need a new Car.29 Jun 2006 20:39 GMT27
I am looking at different cars to replace my French pile of shite Laguna.
I am not buying another Laguna.  I also do not want a Citroen.  I would
really like my next car to be a diesel but they are still quite thin on the
ground and uaually relatively expensive even when old and ...
The truth about 'Brammel'29 Jun 2006 19:00 GMT23

He claims to never go above 70mph on the motorway, must be because he's
always towing his Abbey 4 berth.
He claims to be a safe driver, yet admits to towing a caravan for 50 miles
Knock for Knock?29 Jun 2006 18:54 GMT17
Interesting situation.  On the 15th of this month I was run into from the
rear by a dumper truck. The driver admitted fault and stated that he just
did not see my car over his load.  We exchanged details and I reported the
matter to my insurance company (Hastings Direct).

Spotted this on the A322 in Bisley, near Woking yesterday.....

Warranty on used cars27 Jun 2006 12:05 GMT10
I'm looking at buying a used car. I found one I like at a car dealer. They
also sell a 12 month warranty for an extra £150. This sounds good to me
as at least I know I have a car I can rely on for 12 months but I know
very little about cars.

Scooter twits26 Jun 2006 17:35 GMT21
Driving into town 22:00 and was followed by 2 scooter L riders. In the mirror I
could see them overtaking each other in same lane etc. All low speed stuff.
Anyway, I stop at red light and one of these scooters wizzes past at 30.1 mph
:-). That's ok except he pulls in in front of me ...
Buying a used car26 Jun 2006 15:50 GMT104
I was reading this site giving information on buying a used car:
<http://www.rac.co.uk/web/knowhow/buying_selling_car/buying_advice/what_to_check>
It gives the advice of taking the car for a test drive before buying it.
This is a good idea but what about insurance? Are potential ...
