Drive like a idiot day?24 Nov 2006 12:12 GMT11
I don't know what's going on maybe it's down to the area I've been in
this morning (north east Derbyshire) but there seems to be an effort
from everyone to kill themselves or someone else on the roads.

us.

M1 marked in metric distances?23 Nov 2006 10:08 GMT13
I seem to recall that the M1 was marked in metric distances in the
mid-1970s.
Other, younger, doubted it. One of my workmates had a slight, possible,
recollection of it.

In an observational excercise on the M25 this week I noticed a very
