how come someone has just parked their vehicle (illegally blocking a narrow
footpath) got out and stood in the road until he'd finished the
conversation?

I have it on very good authority that quite a few UK companies are actively
trialling the routing of support calls to individuals in their homes as part of a
strategy to halt the offshoring of jobs which has been, in a lot of cases, a
more expensive business than many companies ...

I've got a relative who learnt to drive before roundabouts were common.
Anyone got any bright ideas on how to get him to learn em without starting a
feud? AFAICS IAM or Rospa might be an option, but I'm not sure how that
would go down once the instructor starts pulling his ...

I said in another thread I had reported a PC for using a mobile while
driving. I also reported the same PC for tailgating my student for a couple
of miles. It has taken around 8 weeks from initial email to police HQ to
receiving a phone call from the investigating PC.
