Does pressing the clutch make any difference when starting the car ?
I have no mechanical knowledge and don;t think so.  My old driving
instruction says it does and he was a mechanic for "many years"
Just wondering if its true or not. I do it anyway just out of habit now.

Even though I'm only been driving for a year. I have been thinking about a
career as a HGV driver. I love driving and could do it all day long. :)

DM today:
An 18 year old female who has consistently refused to wear a seat belt has
died in a car crash after being ejected through a window during the crash.
She had only recently been fined for not wearing a belt.

What we have been promised is that "green" taxes will be revenue neutral i.e
