I'm looking for either a good second hand or recon gearbox for a Merc 814
7.5 tonner. I have used breaker web ( I think that's what it was called...)
for car parts before to good effect. Is there something similar for
commercial vehicles? Perhaps someone in here has one they ...

Well last night is snowed heavily here in central Fife....eventually. How

I'm driving along, merging traffic, I drop back  behind mondeo thats
alongside to merge in, bloke behind doesnt want to blend in, whizzes
up whats now the bus lane to push in. I think "sigh, please grow up"
and dont let him in. No horn blowing, no fingers in air, nothing.

Anyone been having probs with the high winds in NE England/Scotland this
week? Ive been constantly diverted off the Forth Rd Bdge all week - most of
the Scottish bridges have either been closed to high sided vehs or closed
completely.

I followed a police car this evening (little noddy car) for several
miles on a back road, doing perhaps 50% of the limit. I didn't have
much choice, the driver pulled out with no warning into my path. The
standard of driving was so very poor, I held back very much longer than

Just how do you turn a car onto its roof, on a motorway, without
apparently hitting another vehicle, the crash barrier - the
tyres/wheels also looked fine.
After a long delay I saw one being dragged off to the hard shoulder
