can not believe that it hasn't been put in place.

I'm looking at buying my fathers car on Saturday and he is collecting
his new car the same day. His current car has a Cherished number on it

loss how we go about the process of me buying the car so that he keeps

Braking down a hill28 Feb 2007 09:42 GMT42
My gut feeling is that my braking distance is increased when going
down a hill compared to going up it. However, are there any figures
for this? Is it massively different or just a small factor? Is it as
simple as some maths based on the angle of the road being +/- a
Road tax28 Feb 2007 09:25 GMT47
Hopefully most people have heard about this crap by now.
If we have nealry 2 million signatures on a petition, and aparantly 75% of

How the heck can the government think they can roll out something even ...

We were in a queue at a junction and had plenty of time to confirm that it

Train Fares27 Feb 2007 17:27 GMT21
Today I went to London with my wife and two children.
I looked into the various ways of doing this. From my nearest station,
Westgate-on-Sea, and using a Network Railcard, tickets to Charing Cross were
£27.50, but one-day travelcards (which give access to buses and tubes) were

This is the ford that I think I mentioned here before, as being one of the
largest and deepest that I have seen. Most people in the area are aware
that it's substantially more difficult to cross than other fords in the
A simple question about parking26 Feb 2007 11:16 GMT53
Is it universally accepted that a car is legally parked as long as the
wheels are within the parking bay even though part of the car may be
overhanging a yellow line (for instance) or is this something that
varies from borough/town to borough/town?
Hands free without bluetooth ?25 Feb 2007 23:23 GMT4

chewing gum. The missus has stopped flat hunting, people have stopped hiding
when they see me and all is right with the world.
Once again, sorry for the short fuse, foul mouth and serious sense of humour
