In March someone left a Transit minibus on the road outside my house.
Not completely unreasonable, but due to the amount of time it was there
I had ample opportunity to notice that it was untaxed, the tax having
ran out at the end of February.

Following one of those large Blue Circle bulk cement tankers yesterday
down a single carriageway at just below the 40 limit, he had to pull
out to pass three parked cars on the left - all parked in marked bays.
Just as he pulled out there were several cars coming the opposite way ...
