Mother-in-law has been with us for a couple of days. I have to drive her
back to Kent today, so got the car out the garage. Unfortunately, there was
no space to park outside the house, so I drove round the block to enter my
road at the end.
Paul Smith's lies about Linda Mountain30 Dec 2007 18:53 GMT45
This deserves it's own thread.
A pro-speeding poster made up the following garbage:
"Linda Mountain was eventually forced to agree, albeit reluctantly and
in somewhat bad grace, that the work Paul Smith had done was a lot
Question re NI registered car transfer to GB owner30 Dec 2007 10:26 GMT8
I've been working in Belfast for several months and was considering
buying a car there. I don't have a permanent NI address (living in a
hotel), but I do have a permanent address in Scotland. What is
involved in terms of bureaucracy and cost to get the paperwork for a
Red House truck stop between Carlisle and Glasgow29 Dec 2007 22:56 GMT7
Are there any truckers out there that can remember what I think was called
the Red House cafe and where exactly it was?  We were driving back home up
the motorway tonight remarking about the fact we could not remember the
exact route that we used to travel before the A74 became ...
Blackwall Tunnel29 Dec 2007 17:02 GMT3
Can anyone clear up the average speed camera situation with the Blackwall
tunnel for me? When exiting the Northbound bore, I have seen 2 yellow
cameras on a gantry about 300 yards after I exit the tunnel just before a
set of lights, but have not yet spotted any when going into ...

Ok i must be missing something here, i know this news item is from the Daily
Wail so it's probably only half true, but when was smoking behind the wheel

a step to far.
why...islam?29 Dec 2007 01:11 GMT3
The merits of Islam
Question:
There are many religions.
Why do Muslims think that Islam is true. Is there any factual basis?
Christmas Quiz28 Dec 2007 16:05 GMT64
Friday. Chucking out time at the local primary school. I was there to
pick up an eBay purchase from a woman collecting her son, a pupil at
the school. He's in a wheelchair, so she needed to use the sensible
and conveniently placed reserved spot just outside the main gate. Only
Rear lights28 Dec 2007 07:44 GMT82
A lot of cars around with tail light and brake lights not working. It seems
many people rely on a service or an MOT to address this and never bother to
check for themselves. Changing a bulb has been made simple - you don't even
need a screwdriver, yet I have found it beyond the ...
Speed Camera at Roadworks27 Dec 2007 17:13 GMT3
I went past a speed camera which is normally set at 50mph....but
currently there are 30mph limits there due to road works....Would the
speed camera be changed to reflect this temporary limit?
*and yes i'm sure I was driving slow enough :P*

If this women is so petrified of driving why is she attempting to do it? It

Special Needs Driving Test24 Dec 2007 21:49 GMT29
We all know that hardly a day goes by without some lefty politically
correct nonsense in the news, but I've just been watching some Last
Chance driving programme on ITV and I couldn't believe my ears when some
useless pikey cow was told she could have a special needs driving test ...
