red light is illegal except in very specific circumstances.   Odd,

Driving down the M40 towards Sth Oxford in my 6yr old 1.6 Ford Focus
and I noted that I was passing a BMW.  A bit unusual but a while later
I passed another and ditto coming back.  
Now I don't think I've ever overtaken BMWs before and certainly not on
