If you are misbehaving on the M6 arround Thelwall.....16 May 2008 11:45 GMT10

a tasty looking silver 3 series.
With popup stop signs and flashers concealed in the standard lights.
You wouldn't spot it among the rest of the semi-sporty beemers.
Why is it legal for cars to be able to go over 70mph?16 May 2008 06:59 GMT26
The maximum speed allowed on any road is 70mph yet some cars are
manufactured to go up to several times faster than this.
Why don't the government just make a law against selling cars that go
faster than this speed?

Local one to me has just shot up overnight to 113.9 a litre for unleaded...
I expect the others will follow suit.
Seems like a 1p a week increase at the moment (on average). It's gone up
around 20p since last summer.

Funny Insurance Story10 May 2008 23:57 GMT8
We've just had a new phone system in work and the two BT's guys were
going on about Indian call centres (jeeez I thought I could moan!!)
anyway one of them told me a story concerning his mate who was sorting
his car insurance out.  He called his insurance company and ended up
Today's Drive10 May 2008 10:49 GMT12
200+ miles around Mid / West Wales. Mostly avoiding roads beginning with
an 'A', and trying to use roads that don't even have a 'B' number....
Saw some absolutely shocking driving on the sections of A roads I used -
random braking, taking bends at 25mph then burying their right foot ...

Cyclops cars08 May 2008 23:23 GMT30
Are people in the Greater Manchester area too poor to afford a bulb?

Was in McDonalds in Scarboro parked up sorting kids out and there's two
teenagers in a Corsa throwing their sh.t out of the window and finding
it highly amusing.
So in true Conor fashion, I gathered up the rubbish we had from our
Seat belt 'survey'06 May 2008 23:41 GMT74
Sat in my car for a while, with nothing much better to do and watching
the passing vehicles at a slow junction in a village, I did a mini

About 1/3 of the cars/4x4's going past had unbelted occupants. The
Have you Noticed06 May 2008 00:03 GMT13
Once upon a time your eyes were mainly on the road ahead, glancing in your
mirror with only the occasional glance at your speedo or elsewhere.
Now, your eyes are mainly down, concentrated on your speedo trying to stay
within the speed limit, and the road immediately in front of ...
