To all the rude boys out there: is a German-style reg "kewl"25 Jun 2008 11:17 GMT101
Near to my home is parked a most definite British reg golf that has a
registration plate made that appears at first glance to be German - it
has the "D"  within the EU flag and also the state badges etc that
German number plates have.

Four hours questioning on rules  and regulations today and I have been
signed off as a competant signaller. Now comes another four months or so
learning the Midland Mainline/Bedford-St.Pancras area before the final test
(being watched operating the panels for a shift).

For those interested in having a good finish on the car, I thought I would
give the Zaino polishes and detail sprays a go. Very nice products to use and
they give a really nice finish.

This drivers strike ?24 Jun 2008 03:54 GMT538
Is this strike only affecting shell stations. Local radio here said all
stations are affected for some reason.
Although prices are steady and no one is panic buying a thing.
Just curious is the radio made a bubu.
LGV first time passes22 Jun 2008 19:50 GMT4

How many drivers pass the LVG test first time?
I found a page that states "Nationally the pass rate is just under
50%,"

Did his death get much space in the newspapers there?
The local San Doego (California) paper gave it about 18 square inches,
I glad to say. .
Mandatory 50 means No Overtaking21 Jun 2008 08:10 GMT3
Mandatory 50 means No Overtaking - this seems to be the philosophy of
drivers who tailgate rather than overtaking.
Maybe they have 9 points on their licences.
