LGV1 speeding31 Jan 2009 23:30 GMT15
I've just watched "nightwatch" on STV and on it there was a beardy
bike cop who pulled and fined an LGV1 truck driver who had gone over
the speed limit of 40 on a SC road. I therefore say to those car
drivers who villified me for driving on the A9 at the correct speed
Hindhead roadworks31 Jan 2009 12:35 GMT1
Perhaps Mr Firth will know this...
why have they taken away the "delay time" indicators?
It can't be because they didn't work, because the seemed to be surprisingly
accurate (or perhaps I just got lucky!)
Rear fog surprise31 Jan 2009 11:38 GMT27
I followed a car down the road a mile or so this evening, it had its rear
fog light (in the driver side light cluster) switched on.
Now that just looks silly. So I gave a few headlight flashes to warn the
driver.

Bus Station In Leicester29 Jan 2009 12:57 GMT6
I cam across a bus station in Leicester a while back (might have been
Nottingham?). I had to deliver to a BT exchange there. Oddly the only
entrance to the exchange was through the bus station but both ends of
the bus station had no entry signs.

Producer for insurance certificate27 Jan 2009 07:39 GMT28
I'm stopped by the police because their computer thinks I have no
insurance, even though I paid for insurance over the phone earlier that
morning. Police accepts my story and gives me a 7 day producer to show my
insurance certificate.
Funeral Processions26 Jan 2009 13:56 GMT293
I will be in the limo on a funeral procession on Tuesday next week and
Im wondering just how many over vehicles will break up the procession
en route from the church to the crem. I know that many people who post/
read here will have the respect that it deserves but perhaps there

Drove through a red light25 Jan 2009 01:28 GMT16
So I was on my daily commute to work and driving down a road which I
have for god knows how many years I come up to a traffic light on a one
way road and in the left lane of a 2 lane road to go left. The light was
on red on approach with a car infront and a transit infront on the ...
Who should pay for garages mis-diagnoses?24 Jan 2009 18:17 GMT34
If a car goes into a garage for, say, overheating, and the garage replaces
several parts unnecessarily while they are trying to diagnose the problem,
should the car owner be expected to pay for those unnecessary parts? It's
always seemed a grey area to me.
