My wife has a 2 year old Corsa 1.4 CDi and would not normally be considering replacing it for at least a year. But recuperating from a badly broken upper arm she is tempted to buy her first automatic. I'd appreciate any recommendations for models of similar size and power.

An idle question that occurred to me this afternoon: what's the point of the first click and cut-off? I always put in more until the second click. The second click I understand: it says "The tank is full, don't pump any more petrol".

I had a doctors appointment this morning. Found a nice space away from the crowd parked up. Came back to my car started driving off and it fell off ... so I guess someone whacked it and pushed it back on hopeing I wouldn't notice. :-/

Just been talking to someone about filtering when on a bike. Is it legal? I'm pretty sure it is...but in specific circumstances perhaps not? How would insurance apply in the event of an accident.

does anybody fit them at this time of year? If so do you get any problems? Excessive wear? I'm looking at it as cheaper than a 4x4 for slippery roads.
