Anyone heard of a car produced with only one rear passenger door on the nearside? After all,it's the safest side to alight from a right hand drive car.In theory it would not only be safer but would reduce manufacturing costs.

Is there any law about what tyre widths can be used on a car? For example, my fronts are 215, rears are 225 and the spare is a 205. There's no LSD or 4WD involved so there shouldn't be any explicit damage to the mechanicals.

Why do cars need 4 or 5 nuts to hold the wheels on when some rally and racing cars have only one central large one? I can see that it is obviously for a quick change,but surely it could also apply to road cars.
