I'm sure this has been thrashed to death somewhere so sorry for raising it again. What is the situation if a camera gets your car but you don't know or say you don't know who was driving?

| Whos good for one day insurance | 24 Jul 2009 08:29 GMT | 3 |
After calling my current insurer who said theres no such thing as one day insurance and they most certainly don't do it. I called back up to get another person who says they don't offer the service. A few years ago I used someone but can't for the love of god remember who.

You'd think a pick-up with this number plate would have headlights on, not just sidelights, in bad weather on a NSL dual-carriagway

| Slow lane | 22 Jul 2009 22:47 GMT | 6 |
This has to be a joke - no one could be that stupid! or maybe they could. On a North American site someone asked. I know the slow lane is the right lane on roads where they drive on

| uk.rec.cycling.moderated and urcm-moderators@chiark.greenend.org.uk | 22 Jul 2009 20:44 GMT | 21 |
Ian Jackson's system "chiark" is supposed to be running uk.rec.cycling.moderated, yet he is consistently discarding emails to the moderation address and claiming that it is the fault of Microsoft (sorry, should that be M$).

We are (mostly) human. I'm convinced of it. So - what about proving it face-to-face? Bury the online hatchet, and try to prove that you can function in a meatspace social situation. Suggestions for date & location welcome.

| Speed Awareness Course | 21 Jul 2009 09:35 GMT | 90 |
DW was recently zapped by a mobile speed camera. Her NIP states that she was recorded at 36mph in a 30mph zone. It was one of those stretches of road where the speed limit reduces but the traffic flow often does not. I know she was wrong not to slow down for the reduced limit, ...
