My 1990 740T with 250K mi has a rough idle that smooths out at 1500 rpm (in "park" in the driveway). When under load (whenever it's in gear) it has a BAD knock that renders it undrivable. Any experience with this? Bryan vz

The heater works fine in all positions but the feet/floor one. Nothing blows out there when the switch is turned to that position, instead blowing out the top/defrost. Hints on where to start?

Anyone know how I go about fixing the heating system of the driver's (leather) seat? The fuse is ok, so does that mean the heater element needs replacing? Heater on the other seat is fine. RL

My 94 850 turbo wagon has died- ran rough and progressed to no start- turns over but acts like no gas- A2 code 3-2-5 for ECU memory loss. Do I have to get another ECU? Any possible sources other than dealer? Thanks.
