Well, dejablues should win a prize! Her estimate ont he air conditioning was right on... about $600. supposedly, the line wore through, and it needs a new accumulator, line (which needs to be handcrafted) freon and labor=$580. Good job, dejablues! Not great for

I think I had read somewhere that the 2004 S40 shares a chassis with other vehicles. Possibly Ford Focus or other brands. Is this correct?

It's the fuse that runs the dashboard lights and the parking lights. It blows instantly and "with gusto"! Where to begin? ANyone heard of this issue? -jeff

I have an '83 240 Gl SW with 180K that is running great. The in tank fuel pump becomes rather noisy if the tank is less than 1/2 full, so I decided to change it. I encountered couple of problems.

I could use some helpful advice on removing the front brake caliper bolts from a 940. My goal is to relpace the well-worn front brake rotors, and to do so requires removal of the caliper, which in turn requires the removal of the caliper bolts.

I have a '96 850 GLT and a '96 850 Turbo. Within the last couple of weeks the driver side door on each has been 'sticking', making loud metallic noises and is not opening smoothly. Looks like jerking motion in the upper arm mechanism. Is there a simple solution that I am missing ...

Have a 1998 V70....when the steering wheel is turned all the way (or almost all the way), on either direction, there are clicking sounds coming from the wheel(s). Tie-rods were replaced a year ago...
