My old 740 died this past week & I'm having my mechanic look at a '95 850 non-turbo wagon w/ 107K on it. Anything that he should especially go over with his magnifying glass? We've only had 240s & 740s for many years, so this is a whole new game for me. Any intro advice for me? I

Help! Volvo 850 GLT Estate locked with remote control. Alarm and imobilesr switched on. Remote control has an accidental swim in seawater and, not surprisingly, no longer works. Question: How to get the car going again? (The local Volvo garage is closed until Monday).

Well, as the subject line says, I started with a can containing 8 1/2 oz. of compressor oil and 2 1/2 oz. of R-134. That went in fine. Then, I followed up with a normal can of R134 and partially through, I heard a pop, rushing sound and oil all over the place. (Naturally, this ...

I've checked the undercarriage of my s60 and found nothing wrong, it seems very tight. But sometimes when I hit a dip the front end makes a springy "boing" sound. I suspect it's some electronic thing dealing with the road (mostly noticeable when I pull into

I have a 1996 1.9 TD 440. I have noticed recently when I have been driving quite hard that when I remove my foot from the accelerator there seems to be a boost of power only for a second or so. You can feel the car lurching forward. I don't know if
