Low idling problem24 Jun 2004 07:02 GMT2
I have a '94 850 10V where the car is idling low and cutting out. A
friend suggested that a faulty throttle position sensor is probably the
problem.
I've replaced it with a 2nd hand one. The problem remains.
losing oil24 Jun 2004 06:59 GMT2
I have a '94 850 10V.I've found out that is no rocker cover gasket,
instead a sealant is used.
I understand that when removing the rocker cover, this lifts the cams.
Is this correct?

I am looking for a second hand steering wheel for a 940.
My garage say they are looking too, but I have my doubts.

240/1991 keeps heating23 Jun 2004 18:12 GMT6
there is always some mild heat comming out of the left and right heater
outlet. Altough the command is set "cold". So I guess the valve is not
operating properly. Is it easy to replace? Or has the car been built around
it like the fan housing? What would be the right procedure to ...

HOT air from the exhaust to the filter box? Can I ...

air conditioning Q - topping off R134a at home?23 Jun 2004 13:11 GMT11
So the air conditioning of my '93 960, R134a system is working but not
all that well. Cool, but not cold air. I thought that one of the home
recharge kits would be OK to top off the system. I have been reading
and found a lot of generic tips, but not specifically for this car,
Paint care tip...23 Jun 2004 04:16 GMT5
Was looking for something to give the 960 a good cleaning and polish
and found Meguier's ColorX at wallyworld. I have always had good luck
with anything with the Meguier's name on it so gave it a try. Seems to
work really nice. Covers/disguises/gets rid of most swirl marks and
850 No reverse lights - PNP switch?  No diag code (?)23 Jun 2004 02:38 GMT1
I have a 1997 850GLT, and the reverse lights have quit working.
Sockets, bulbs and fuse are all good.  I tried the 'cleaning' routine
of shifting rapidly from P to L about 20 times -- still no reverse
lights.

850 AC still kinda sucks  :P22 Jun 2004 18:50 GMT6
My air conditioner works occasionally.
After some research on the net, I decided to bypass the "superheat" switch and
recharge the system.
Now, it blows cold but seems to stop now and then - almost like when the
