Starting 94020 Jul 2004 00:41 GMT3
I hava a 940. It starts very well when its cold (first start of the day).
But when I try to start it the second time, after a few or a lot km's, I
need to throttle(I don't know the right expression) a lot. When the engine
starts it often stops when idle and needs to start again. ...

My 1991 240 DH

even took fingernail file and made sure the contact points were fresh.  Can
240 - rear axle end float?19 Jul 2004 13:52 GMT2
I've just noticed on the LHS rear wheel has ~2mm end float, i.e. I can pull
the wheel in and out relative to the differential. The RHS has no end float
at all.
Is this normal? I can't see in the Haynes manual anything about adjusting

I noticed that fluid was squirting out the check valve hole.
I took it apart and it was all gunked up.  It is all clean, but
something doesn't look right... the black valve/stopper has
a pin sized hole in the center of it, which looks original, but

CD Changer connector on 1994 Volvo 85019 Jul 2004 03:02 GMT4
I was puttering around under the rear deck last week, when I noticed a small
plug (about the same size and pin-outs) as the modern PC mouse and keyboard
connectors (not serial or AT formats).
I'm assuming that this is the CD changer connector.
What's the word on Sooter's Garage in Aurora, Ontario19 Jul 2004 02:56 GMT2
They're located just off  Industrial Street, in that little stub-street that
goes between Insustrial and the Conservation Area.
Had four Volvos parked out front, another couple in the shop. Looked like
your basic neighbourhood garage -- knowledgable, messy and friendly.

Sat. Nav. system18 Jul 2004 21:38 GMT2
I have a one year old volvo with sat.nav. system installed.
Now find frequent occurrences where info. is out of date or just wrong.
Quoted ?200+ for latest disc, is this a rip off or what? Surely if you pay
for the system the information on the disc should be current and any up date

According to the blink-codes of the ABS-System/Controlling-unit it has

Is it possible to exchange the controller-unit only (B18U, model 1994,
