Anyone know where the Cruise Control relay is located in a 1983 240 Turbo? It's not listed in the Haynes Manual and I took out my glovebox thinking it might be under there but no luck. Steering column? Engine compartment? It's white, isn't it?

Just been back from my Volvo dealer in Limerick, Ireland. My year 2000 V70 has been over-revving (rev-counter is at "1" when sitting in neutral) for the last week and they reckon I need a new ECM and "softwear". They want to charge me 945 EURO + 45 EURO for "softwear";

I brought my 850t (138K miles) in because it was running hot, even though the radiator had recently been replaced, and there was ample antifreeze in the system. The shop said I needed a new fan relay, so we replaced the old one.
