The car starts and runes fine in the mornings which have been cool. My drive
to work is short so the gearbox doesn't usually heat up a lot. Lately during
longer trips the transmission starts to exhibit problems.
1.downshifting harshly during an aggressive stop

My front rotors on my '84 240 are slightly warped and I know I should replace them.
I thought I could get the calipers out of the way without disconnecting the brake
lines, but the last time I tried this, I felt I would damage the lines. There is
enough give on the rear brake ...

I picked up this '81 DL Wagon a few months ago for $200. It had been sitting
for a few years beside this guy's house after it developed an intermittent
starting problem.
I got it running, and was having fun with it until the aforementioned problem

The trans just doesn't want to get out of 1st when you first start off in
the mourning. It eventually get there and is fine for the rest of the day
(after about 10 mins) .
Any course of action other than a rebuild?

Symptoms:
Car was idling normally then went very quickly oscillated from 2K-3K for
five or six iterations and then died. I checked for spark....NONE. I
checked for a fuel pulse at the injectors...NONE. Any thoughts?

My 960 suffers from rough idling once the engine warms up.
There is no visible fluctuation on the tachometer but a steady,
periodic rock that makes the car shake. I thought there might me a
misfire (spark plug, cable), but on the road it runs smoothly.

I recently purchased a 1994 non-turbo 850. It has plenty of oil in it, but
the oil light comes on frequently--it kind of flickers on and off while I'm
driving, and at other times it behaves and just stays off. Any idea as to
what could be causing this or how to fix it?

and outer tie-rod ends on the driver's side of my 1999 S70. It currently has
